Beautiful crisp coloring on this vintage selection by Arthur E.Bucknam and Jacob Henry Ellis. Cover artist Pheiffer. Very nice condition other than a very small peel on the spine (not noticeable when folded back) and a hand written signature. Would be lovely framed!

This nativity figure would be one of the harder pieces to find. It is a beggar man or peasant poor man. He is kneeling and offering all the gold he has to the new born king. Made of hand painted, glazed ceramic. He is a large scale also, measuring slightly over 5" tall. He is in perfect condition. Marked Atlantic mold on the bottom. 1970's era. I have others to this set in my catalog if adding or replacing figures for your own display.

The edition was issued in 1991 by Christian Seltmann of Weiden and was limited to a maximum of 95 firing days. The diameter is 8 ½ inches. The plate is mint in the original shipping box and includes the original paperwork & certificate of authenticity.

By Knowles China, this plate was from the only series officially authorized by the estates of Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein II. By artist William Chambers. This one titled "The puzzlement" from the King and I series. Perfect condition and comes in box with certificate of authenticity. Measures 8 1/2" in diameter. Yul Brenner featured as the King from the musical. Was limited to 100 firing days.

Knowles sponsored by Encyclopaedia Britannica. 1987. 8 1/2" in diameter, plate depicts 2 cottontail rabbits - adult and baby. Mint condition w/certificate, & box.
