This black and white resting holstein cow cookie jar is an Otagiri product. It is 10 x 7.75 x 5.5. Otagiri products were handcrafted and handpainted in Japan. This cookie jar was made in the 1980s. Enesco bought out Otagiri so Otagiri stamped items are no longer made. The black and gold foil "handcrafted Japan/Otagiri" label is on the bottom with the Otagiri trademark. This cookie jar is in excellent vintage condition and has no chips or cracks.

Nice Used Condition. The crown has two points which have small chips as shown in the close up. a few paint rubs on the back side. No other chips or cracks.90% of these found have a cip to some degree on that crown!! It could be touched up with yellow ceramic paint probably and would not be noticeable. Vintage Japan kitten or cat cookie jar. I have noticed the Japan manufacturers made these with different hats. This one has a coolie hat with a flower on each side and wear a red and yellow polka dot tie. Some decoration in underglaze but it has cold paint accents for the tie and flowers. No chips or damages. Japan stamped into the mold, underglaze. Measures 10" tall. A sweet vintage collectible cookie jar for kitty lovers!
A red rooster or maybe a hen, chicken cookie jar was handcrafted and handpainted in Japan by Otagiri OMC. Otagiri products were distributed to upscale department stores and gift shops for sale to discriminating shoppers. The cookie jar is 9 3/4 inches tall and 10 inches long. It is date stamped and trademarked on the bottom. This cookie jar is in excellent vintage condition. Although the cookie jar was more abundant a few years ago, it has become a scarce find now...

Original NS Gustin sticker on the bottom and this little puppy is perfect! It could be used for a dog trat jar also. Notice his little ears, (the way they stick out). Measures just 9 1/2" tall.
Mervyn's Glass-Eyed Mama Rabbit with Baby Cookie Jar. This adorable bunny rabbit cookie jar is a mama rabbit with her baby. There were five of these glass-eyed cookie jars sold exclusively at Mervyn's Department Store in the 1980s. This and the other jars are listed in "The Wonderful World of Cookie Jars" by Mark and Ellen Supnick. In 1998 the value was $150-$175. All were made in Japan. This still has the blue sticker on the bottom.This jar is in excellent vintage condition...
