Pair of chalk african man & woman busts. These are a matched set. I'm not sure of the age, but most likely 40+ years of age. They are solid cast, with nice weight. They measure about 9 1/4" tall. Nicely sculpted to appear life like. Good condition with the exception of a few chips on the bottom.( These are not noticeable when sitting on the table. Nice example of African art. This is an awesome handpainted piece of pottery. It measures 7 1/4" diameter, and is signed on the back by the artist. I have included a photo of the signature though I cannot make it out. It is Australian, I believe. It depicts the profile of a warriers face, spears, and distant trees which appears to be the outback. There is crazing in the glaze. No damages, chips, or cracks. Such a wonderful item! Not sure of the age. I have personally had it 15+ years, and aquired it at a tag sale.
Old hand carved tribal art pieces made of wood and embellished with beads. Figures measures 12 1/2" tall and are in great condition with the exception of the stick is missing that was in the man's hand. The clothing they are wearing appears to be decorated with natural dyes. No cracks or splits or chips missing. Wood is of a medium weight. No signatures or marks that I can see. No idea how old these actually are, but they are old. E mail me if you would like to see a closeup of the tunic design...
Wonderful cover featuring Lena Horne, with Cab Calloway and his band, & Bill Robinson. From the 1930s Fox production Stormy Weather. Very nice condition with the exception of a pencil written name at the top. Lyric by Andy Razaf and music by Thomas Waller and Harry Brooks.
Extremely rare bakelite pin is a cross over collectible. It is a clown, but has a black face. Eyes are moveable. Measures 3 1/4" tall. Very nice condition. Gotta love that applesauce coloring. He is truely a find, I have had him for over 40 years and had got him at a flea market when my parents vended in San Jose. I have never seen another, nor has anyone else I know. He was old and special then, but not sure exactly of his decade made. Now it is time for someone else to enjoy him...

This ceramic cookie jar measures about 12" tall. He wears white chef hat, apron, and pants with a blue shirt. He stands sternly with his hands on his hips. A little flaking in some areas of the cold paint. I would say 98% of the paint is in nice condition. He has no chips or cracks. A great addition to your black memorabilia collection. He has no marks or stickers. I could not id him in any of the books I have. Not even sure of date.
