Bottom looks as if there are 3 tiny chips. Not rough though, due to all of the wear on the bottom over the years. If you need a closeup of this detail please e-mail me for another photo.

This beautiful compote is complete. It is very difficult to find this collectable piece with the lid intact. Evan the reference book shows it without the lid. This is a wonderful example of a great Estate find. It was protected and displayed. There are no chips cracks or scratches, all the edging on the compote is perfect, even the top finial. The color is very interesting, as the light changes, so does the color.
