Adorable, retro mid-century 4" tall figural salt and pepper shakers by Enesco, featuring green-suited pixie elves sitting on mushroom's. They were made at the height of the 1950s pixie craze and there were at least three matching companion "Helpful Kitchen Pixie" pieces made to match. Original stoppers. No chips or cracks. Foil Enesco Imports Japan label is intact on the underside of the salt shaker.
This pair of shakers are unique as they have the gold trim on the paws and feet. Starting in the 1910's, George Studdy created a cartoon of a mischievous little pup. By 1922 he was named Bonzo and a whole devoted base of readers became collectors of this cute little guy.
This is a shaker set from Japan that was probably made in the 1930's. Each pup is 3" high and is marked Made in Japan on the base.There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs. Some of the gold has some wear...

These look like Shawnee but I"m not certain. None the less they are from the 30's and very cute. Hand painted under glaze. Measures just 2 1/2" tall and no chips or cracks. They look like little bakers, or sailors, maybe chefs. Perfect but no corks.
