25 fine porcelain thimbles with original display rack from The Franklin Mint, Fine porcelain. Each thimble is marked Franklin Porcelain and dated. This is "The Pages of America's Past" thimble collection. Each thimble portrays a vintage nostalgic magazine cover, and pattern that carries over from the cover of that magazine. These are wondeful thimbles and a must have for the collector. These were by special order in 1984 and can only be found now, on the secondary market...
This is not something you see every day! Its called a lazy jenny. It is for winding wool after you spin it into yarn. A great old primitive. Everything is hand carved and its put together with pegs and dowels. Six removeable spokes come out of their sockets for storage. Great condition, its all there.Email for more photos
From Avon 1984 is the entire Ladies of Fashion collection of porcelain thimbles. Each lady is from a different time era and is made of fine bisque porcelain and carefully handpainted. Each thimble is approxamatly 2 1/4" tall and they come with their oriiginal wood display. A few minor edge scratches on the display. Each of the eight thimbles are in pristine condition with no damages or repairs. Email me if you would like to see more closeup pictures of the ladies.
Four vintage gold tone engraved lockets, two with same pattern and two others different, suspended from chains. This was to be hooked on a sewing chatelaine. Color good outside, no scratches or denting. All clasps work well, and the photo frames are intact inside each little locket. Each measures about 3/4". Chains do not look original. This circus elephant is made of pottery and hand decorated. I believe it is a string and ribbon dispenser.Perhaps I'm wrong and it was intended for a different use. It measures about 4 1/2" tall and is almost 7" long. It has a moon shaped slit behind each ear and two 1/2" holes on its behind. Most of the bottom area is open. Heavily crazed, and a tiny fleabite on one ear (just noticed). More pictures upon request.
Old woven chinese sewing basket with original decoratin of cord handle with brass oriental tokens for decorations. It is round, and 10 1/2" in diameter.4" deep with lid on. Basket is dark brown (almost black) in color. The inside of the lid and bottom have a herringbone weave. The outside has a totally different weave. It is in excellent condition. There is not even the slightest break in any of the weave. Very carefully kept. I have more photos if you ned to see them.

This old basket is tightly woven and measures 13" to the top of the handle. The lid fits nice and tight. It has coloring as if had paint decorations on it at one time. Very good condition. Just one side of the handle has the wrap starting to come undone and some of the old paint is flaking. See photos. Very old but not sure of the origin age or type. Nice big roomy basket would be great for a multitude of uses.
This is such a great basket. It is older but not sure of the age, so I will let you judge due to the pictures. Makes a wonderful sewing basket, but could be used for other things. Appears to be hand woven, Measures 10 1/4" diameter and is 3 3/8" tall with the lid on. It is in perfect condition with no stains, pulls, snags or repairs. The condition is awesome. Made of pink & green dyed natural fibers. Bottom is natural color. You will adore it. Nice for a beach theme.
Coats & Clark Limited Edition plate. Design shown is a reproduction of an authentic trade card Circa 1890 from the collection of Coats & Clark, who is famous for their sewing thread. Limited to only 5,000 plates. This is plate number 4225. This is dated 1990 and is # 3 in a series titled The Secret of Successful Sewing. This measures 8 1/2" diameter. This is in excellent condition, there are no chips or cracks. No Box.
This retro string holder is quite color dated with the lime, yellow and orange colors of the late 60' early 70's era. She measures 7 1/2" tall and is made of a sort of fiberglass composite and hand painted. She has an opening in the back for the ball of string, and a slot on her nose to park your scissors. There is a small hole in her package top for the string to feed through, Original Lorrie Designs sticker and Japan sticker that is the Josef style. Great condition.
This is a very old stamped metal box and is from England. Lots of fancy petals and flowers. Oval shape measures 7 3/4" x 9 1/4". It is 2 1/2" deep. Average condition, with wear, and has been loved and used. Nice old patina. A few dings on the bottom and paint wear. Would make a great sewing box.
