THis beautiful old music box is in perfect condition. Gold color plated metal box made of fancy Edwardian designs of scrolls and florals. Stands on four legs and is nicely lined in a soft gold velvet which compliments the color of the box. Key to wind music is on the inside of the lid, and plays perfectly. Plays "Somewhere my love". I'm selling both of these mercury glass pieces together because they came in together.They are hand blown. I am calling them vases but actually they will not hold water because there are deliberate 1/4" holes in the bottom of each of them.Suitable for dried or artificial flowers only. This is so awesome to just be made of chains. Four main strands , with each of those stands having 6 more smaller strands. Different sizes an link styles make this a beautiful and interesting piece. Very well made in gold tones. Lays nicely and shimmers and sparkles like real gold would. Measures 17" at the shortest point. Looks like new!! Photo doesn't do it justice.
