Old Reed & Barton ornate server with lid granite liner

Old Reed & Barton ornate server with lid granite liner for item J-94
$60.00 $60.00

Beautiful old silver plated estate piece by Reed and Barton. This great covered casserole has the original granite liner with beauty ring. Stands on four ornate legs, with matching handles and a pillowy pattern. Pattern number on the bottom is No 860. Stamped on the bottom "MFD and Plated by Reed & Barton, Taunton Mass. No 860 Pat App'd for". Old original graniteware liner is cream colored on the inside with a black exterior. There is small chipping on the edges of the granite which is covered by the silver plated beauty ring. This granite liner has a diameter if 7 1/2", and is 2 1/2" deep. Casserole measures 11" from handle to handle. The only flaw I can see on the silver plating is on the knob, due to wear. This is a wonderful old piece and would work well with most of the old ornate pieces that Reed and Barton, and others manufactured in this time period. I have lots of detailed photo's if interested in seeing them, just ask. Any question you may have, please feel free to ask and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
