This marvelous teacup and saucer is from Thomas Forester & Sons (Ltd.), Longton, England, under the trade name Phoenix China T.F. & S. Proudly featuring a wonderful hand painted motif. Stylized flowers, , done in lovely shades of yellow. Marvelous green leaves provide definition and contrast. The rims, foot and interesting handle, all have gold gilt trim. An additional band of gold gilt encircles the inside of the teacup, just to give this set that extra special touch of elegance. The teacup stands 2 3/4" high and measures 3 1/4" across the rim. The saucer measures 5 1/2" across the rim. No nicks, chips, cracks or crazing.
