Bassett Limoges Austria - BSS24 - 8 5/8" luncheon plate. The BSS24 pattern has pink roses touched with yellow along the rim.Beaded relief edge. This pattern was discontinued circa 1900. George Bassett was a New York company with factories in Limoges and in Austria. From the later 1800s until World War I, they imported into the US, mostly table china with floral transfer decoration. Their goods have no porcelain mark; they were decorated at the factories which produced them. Mark B20a: Red or green decorating mark for both Limoges and Austria production. This plate carries the green mark. Pristine condition.
