Vintage hand quilted 1930s pair dresden plate quilts

We do know the provinance on these two lovely matched antique quilts being 77+ years old. Made in the 1930's for my neighbors, mother's, hope chest, by her mother & grandmother. These have been taken care of, and packed away for many many years. All hand pieced, and hand quilted cotton fabric. Matched pair of dresden plate pattern quilts that were meant for twin beds (photo shown on a queen size bed) so they would hang nicely on a twin. Each of them measure 73" x 89". They are PERFECT. No stains, discoloration or yellowing, loose threads, tears, or worn spots. Looks like there is 10-11 tiny stitches per inch. Nicely quilted all over. A lot of love and labor went into making these, but the owner has no family to pass them along to now, and needs to find them an appreciative home. We did not launder them, so they will need to be freshened up. These will not disappoint. Made of pretty pleasing pink tones. LOVELY... LOVELY.... Pair. They will be sold together for one money. It would be a shame to split them up after all these years.
