Vintage Maruhon Japan Maw1 jelly / jam jar (K)

Pre World War II. It was made by Maruhon in Japan. Some refer to it as cottage ware. Replacements lists this pattern as Maw 1. The color is cream and is decorated with a lovely yellow flower on the lid. I believe this is for Jams or jelly, as most pieces of this I'v seen are tea and breakfast related. The lid has an opening for the spoon handle. Measures 4.5" tall to the top of the flower. Marked Maruhon Ware, made in japan with a circle K and pat number. One teeny teeny chip found as I looked it over carefully. Very hard to detect, so does not detract from the piece.
