" Hey Toots... Wanna go steady? Try castor oil" is the caption on this vintage Paula figurine. Popular in the 1970's, these adorably tacky statues made their way into the hearts of many collectors. These are similar to the Russ W Berries figurines in many ways with one essential difference: Paula figurines are made of wood then coated with a thin plastic resin. The bottoms reveal the natural wood. Felt on the bottom of this one. This one is stamped, dated 1972 W-305 and measures 5.50" tall. This guy has a ring, and a bad line for asking a girl to go steady.
