"Sex Relieves tension" is the caption on this vintage Paula figurine / ashtray. Popular in the 1970's, these adorably tacky statues made their way into the hearts of many collectors. These are similar to the Russ W Berries figurines in many ways with one essential difference: Paula figurines are made of wood then coated with a thin plastic resin. The bottoms reveal the natural wood. felt like paper on the bottom of this one. This one is stamped, dated 1972 AW-37 and measures 4.50" tall. This guy liesurely reclines on the rear part of this ashtray.
