Red Pyroglaze Quart milk bottle from SOUTH BERKELEY CREAMERY in OAKLAND CALIFORNIA. The Back has a great picture of A Baby Next To a Bottle of Milk and reads BABY"S BEST FRIEND in Glass. The founders name J.A. Sabatte is on the cap. This Dairy was in began in South Berkeley in 1910 , but later moved to Oakland. This Dairy later changed its name in the 50's to what we know of today as BERKELEY FARMS which is still in operation. 50 mark on the bottom of the bottle indicates that this bottle was manufactured in 1950. There are no chips or cracks and the Red Pyro is in Nice Condition as you can see by the photos. A GREAT addition to any California or Local milk bottle collection.
