Vintage Pell Pink rhinestone owl pin

Delightful and exceptionally brilliant figural pin made by the Pell Jewelry Company (1941-present). This wise owl is covered with bright pink rhinestones and two emerald green eyes. This pin is pictured in Collecting Costume Jewelry 101 by Julia C. Carroll. The pin measures 2 1/4" x 1 3/8" Condition is very good. All stones are present and really bright. The plating is near pristine on both the front and back and the pin clasp is secure. I must apologize for the light reflections in the pics as some rhinestones can be so difficult to photograph.
