Bing Grondahl Christmas in Greenland plate 1972

Beautiful porcelain collector plate made by B&G Bing & Grondahl of Denmark. Copenhagen Porcelain. It is a Christmas (Jul) plate from 1972, and shows a dog team pulling a sled toward a snow-covered village in the mountains of Greenland. It has a green stamped backmark with the stylized B&G castle emblem, encircled by the words COPENHAGEN PORCELAIN MADE IN DENMARK in block capitals, and Jul i Grønland and Christmas in Greenland in script letters. It is also marked with the artist's initial, R. It measures 7 1/4 inches (18.4cm) in diameter. There are no chips, cracks or scratches, and no discoloration or crazing of the glaze. No damage at all. There are two holes at the back for hanging. It comes with the original box, but no phamplet. I have a second one, also perfect with no box. First purchase recieves the one with the box.
