Autumn leaves Sugar Bowl with lid by Metlox/Vernon ware, is in excellent condition, no visible chips or cracks or visible crazing.
Approximate measurements: 4 1/2 inches tall with lid. 3 inches tall without lid, 5 inches wide at the handles, and a 2 1/2 inch opening. Metlox Potteries was founded in 1927 in Manhattan Beach, California. Theodore C. Prouty and his son Willis founded the pottery. Dinnerware was made beginning in 1931. Evan K. Shaw purchased the company in 1946 and expanded the number of patterns. Poppytrail (1946-1989) and Vernonware (1958-1980) were divisions of Metlox under Shawâ€™s direction.
