vintage birds, salt and pepper shakers

old vintage pair of salt and pepper shakers with CMI Chadwick Japan stickers. I think these used to have a noisemaker in the base originally. Hand painted ceramic, measures 4 1/2" tall. Beak on the green bird is a little rough on the tip. Otherwise good condition.
