Old salt glazed pitcher, no lid
This great old pitcher has no markings on it. It at one time had a lid which is no longer the case. The lid had one of those safety latches (?) there is a indentation on the inner rim of the pot that accomidates it. Measures 7 1/2" tall to the top of the handle. Great two tone, light blue with white top. Some crazing, and definate large glaze skip on the side shown in photo and one on the other side by the handle. One small chip on the inner lip of the spout. It has a rayed pattern coming up from the bottom half of the pitcher. All of these production flaws in the glaze with the crazing makes this a truely wonderful piece of old pottery art for your country kitchen shelf.
