Owl cookie jar, Maurice of California

This vintage owl cookie jar is marked Maurice of Calif USA 12 Measures 11 3/4" tall. The company started business in 1967, and this would be one of their early pieces. There is a chip on the side of his beak that a previous owner has darkened to blend in, so it is not noticeable (look closely at the photo to see it). Everything else is in great condition.
