Souvenir wood Thunderbird totem pole, Alaska

This nice Thunderbird totem has the legend of the thunderbird on the bottom. Measures 13 1/4" tall and is in excellent condition. Appears to be made of redwood or another ligtweight wood. All hand painted detailing. Also writtemn on the bottom is ~Creed totem Alaska. The creed reads: The thunderbird was thought to be a powerful God. He was the creator God living high in the mountains. With the flapping of his wings came the rains and storms. The evil spirits were driven into the lonely high mountain ranges.
