Vintage Germany wood figural incense smoker

We just love these smokers when they do come in. This is a man holding an axe and lantern and has a pipe so it appears that he is smoking when the incense burns inside him. Made of wood and has a felt cape. Gentle fading to the cape from age. Measures 8 1/4" tall. All hand painted. Paint is blistered in a few spots and is a tiny bit flaky at the base and on the edge of his hat brim. He is good and useable and the incence burner inside is intact. A neat Christmas collectible. Not marked Germany, but sticker has probably been lost.
