J.G. Meakin red transferware, Romantic England platter

This beautiful platter is in a pinkish red color. Most companies call it pink, I'm not certain of Meakin , I think they call it red. J & G Meakin came out with the Romantic England series in the 1940s. This platter is titled "Itham Mote". The platter features a large English cottage with a man in very early dress in a boat on a pond along with lovely country scenery. It is a very beautiful scene and is signed Frank Trigger. The platter is in beautiful condition, free of cracks, chips & stains. If you collect fine English transferware or even if you don't. This piece is befitting any collection or for everyday use. This item measures 12 1/2" long, it's 9 5/8" wide and is 1 1/4" deep.
