Old French Lebel bayonet, cruciform blade and scabbard

Pre-or world war 1 French Cruciform bayonet with metal scabbard. (The pig sticker). Not sure of exact year but dates 1915 era. French Lebel Bayonet. It has a black iron scabbard with a ball point end and solid brass grip. A very good condition cruciform (4 sided) sticker type blade. The blade is stamped MP near the base. There are no other markings on the blade that I can see. On the butt of the handle is stamped FN 18609. This is original and has the spring relaease that works perfect. The blade it straight and no chips or breaks. Very nice condition for something this old. The point is intact and not sharpeened down past the original grooves. The scabbard holds the blade firmly and is in decent shape too. 20 3/8 inch blade and is 25 5/8" overall. No damages that I can see that would de-value it in any way. During the war the French Army found that the hooked quillon (hilt crossguard) of the original 1886 model was getting caught up in barbed wire entanglements protecting the enemy trenches (and their own) so they had them ground off, and after that made the bayonets with no quillon.
