Fenton blue satin bicentennial plate, Proclaim Liberty
Fenton Bi-Centennial Plate #4 in Series 1776-1976 in Box This Fenton plate in antique powder blue satin glass was the fourth in a series to commemorate the bi-centennial in 1976. The front of this plate has a wreath garland around the rim, and shows the ringing of the Liberty Bell. The back says: Issued January 1, 1976. Number Four in a Series of Four. Official United States of America Bicentennial Commemorative Project of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The back says: Proclaim Liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof. Two centuries later this same proclamation still rings. The Liberty Bell with its simple inscription has become one of the most cherished and revered symbols of American freedom. Measures 8 1/8 inches across. Perfect shape with no chips or cracks. Marked on the back with the embossed Fenton logo. This plate does not have the box. I have listed the other three in this set. OOPS!! spot on the plate is old tape residue, and it will be removed before I ship.
