Personal or business checks preferred. PayPal possible in a pinch from "verified" PayPal accounts for purchases under $300 (different e-mail address for PayPal! so wait for our payment request if you must use PayPal.) Sorry, but we can no longer accept PayPal for purchases under $10 (so no PayPal under $10). Though we may insist on shipping to an address "confirmed" by PayPal, payment by credit card should be possible via PayPal without being a PayPal member.

Wire transfer is preferred in the event of a sale outside of the U.S. We will happily consider exceptions in the case of known buyers or when providing references.

We charge additional for shipping unless the item description expressly states otherwise. We may ship USPS first-class unless arranged otherwise. But for smaller items shipped domestically, we may use USPS Priority Flat Rate (if package size fits) to save on effort and cost to procure materials. In any event, we need to account for materials and effort. But we make reasonable effort to contain shipping cost. We may require insurance and tracking.

We offer most of our new listings in Vervendi auction format before (and sometimes soon after) pricing them in our catalog. We open bidding at or near what we might pay for an item. After auction, we assign what we feel is a competitive price at or below fair market value. (If you want the auction price, then register for the auction.)

Unless arranged prior for high value items, our auction sales are "as is" except for expressly described state of condition. Arrangements can be made to personally inspect an item in our proximity. Shipping on auction items is always additional unless expressly waived in our item description. If in doubt about anything, please ask before bidding at auction.

Claims for damage must follow guidelines of the shipper. Contact us - do not repack and ship as that may void shipper's coverage. Keep the object with all the original packaging - discarding no material or documentation.

We value customers and treat them as we would wish to be treated. We provide these policy guidelines only so there is a clear understanding of responsibilities and limitations.
