Here is a cute sterling demitasse spoon by W. Faber & Sons of Philadelphia. The spoon is 4 3/8 inches long and weighs 8 grams. The handle front is decorated with beautiful bright-cut engraving. The piece is monogrammed "G" on the handle front. The spoon is marked "STERLING" and "W. FABER & SONS".

Condition on the spoon is fairly good. There is a small pinpoint ding in the bowl and some faint spots, but otherwise just normal wear from age. A nice old spoon!

Up for bid is an interesting coin silver sugar shell, marked Harwood Bros.. The spoon is 6 1/16 inches long and weighs 21 grams. The handle front is decorated with simple flower and leaf engraving. The piece has never been monogrammed. The spoon is marked "PURE-COIN" and "HARWOOD BRO'S".

Condition on the spoon is fair. There are numerous old salt spots in the bowl, but they could be removed with some extra polishing...

This is an early Philadelphia pattern coin silver tea or youth knife, marked Hildeburn & Bros. but likely made by James Watts. The knife is 7 5/8 inches long and weighs a hefty 52 grams. The handle is double die-struck in a simple waisted pattern as shown. The knife has a worn monogram on one side of the handle. The knife is marked "HILDEBURN & BROS" on the blade and "PA____", likely a partial patent date, on the handle.

Condition on the knife is fairly good...

Up for sale is a nice salad serving set in the SILVER IRIS pattern by International, introduced in 1955. The pieces are about 9 1/4" long, and together weigh a hefty 223 grams. The pieces have never been monogrammed. The pieces are marked "INTERNATIONAL (Trademark) STERLING" and "Silver Iris" as shown.

Condition on the set is fairly good. There are numerous scratches and a few small black spots, but no real damage. A nice set in a beautiful pattern!

Up for sale is a fine old macaroni knife or pasta server in the scarce 1776 pattern by Howard Sterling. The piece is 10 1/8 inches long and weighs 105 grams. The piece has never been monogrammed. The piece is marked with the Howard Sterling Co. trademark and "STERLING", as shown.

Condition on the piece is good. There is just the normal light wear. A handsome and useful old sterling serving piece!

For sale is a rare platter or stuffing spoon in the DIANA pattern by International, introduced in 1900. The spoon measures 12 5/16 inches long and weighs 146 grams. It has a peg on the back of the handle to keep it from slipping into a dish. The spoon is marked with the Wilcox & Evertsen / International trademark and "STERLING" as shown. The spoon is monogrammed "P" on the handle front.

Condition on the spoon is good. There is just the normal wear of use and a few shallow bowl dings...

For sale is a fine pinch style asparagus serving tongs by Christofle. The tongs are 6 3/8inches long and the blades are 3 1/4 inches wide. The piece has a spring hinge secured with a screw. The handle has a simple pattern, as shown, and the curved blades are ribbed for grip. The piece is monogrammed "TG" on one handle. The piece is marked with a trademark and [CHRISTOFLE] as shown.

Condition on the tongs is quite good. There is no wear through, and just normal wear from light use...

For sale is a very nice German modernist silverplate asparagus server by Auerhahn. The server measures 10 3/8 inches long and has very good weight. The broad, angled blade has ribs to hold the asparagus spears. The handle is pointed, with a high center rib. The piece is marked "AUERHAHN 100 W. GERMANY". The piece has not been monogrammed.

Condition on the server is very good. There is no wear-through, just some scratches and some stubborn tarnish. A nice piece!

For sale is an unusual Atlantic City, New Jersey souvenir spoon by George W. Shiebler. The spoon measures 4 5/8 inches long and weighs 15 grams. The bowl has a light gold wash and a die-struck view of the Absecon lighthouse. The handle is shaped like waves, with "ATLANTIC CITY" in wavy letters on the handle front. The spoon is not monogrammed, but there is slight chance that one was removed from the back...

For sale is a fine Asheville, North Carolina souvenir citrus spoon in the GEORGE III pattern by Frank Whiting, introduced in 1891. The spoon measures 5 1/4 inches long and weighs 15 grams. The bowl is nicely engraved with a view of the mountains in "Asheville / N.C.". The spoon is not monogrammed. The spoon is marked with the old Frank M. Whiting trademark, "STERLING" and "PAT.JUNE 9 '91", as shown.

Here is a nice coin silver tablespoon by Hugh Gelston of Baltimore, Maryland, working ca. 1821 to 1833. The spoon is 8 1/2 inches long and weighs 54 grams. The spoon has squared shoulders, a swaged arch drop and a downturned rounded fiddle handle. The spoon is monogrammed "H" in script on the handle front as shown. The spoon is marked with a leaf stamp and [HU.GELSTON] in a rectangle as shown. The leaf mark is unusual for Baltimore.
