Here is a cute sterling demitasse spoon by W. Faber & Sons of Philadelphia. The spoon is 4 3/8 inches long and weighs 8 grams. The handle front is decorated with beautiful bright-cut engraving. The piece is monogrammed "G" on the handle front. The spoon is marked "STERLING" and "W. FABER & SONS".

Condition on the spoon is fairly good. There is a small pinpoint ding in the bowl and some faint spots, but otherwise just normal wear from age. A nice old spoon!

Up for sale is a nice salad serving set in the SILVER IRIS pattern by International, introduced in 1955. The pieces are about 9 1/4" long, and together weigh a hefty 223 grams. The pieces have never been monogrammed. The pieces are marked "INTERNATIONAL (Trademark) STERLING" and "Silver Iris" as shown.

Condition on the set is fairly good. There are numerous scratches and a few small black spots, but no real damage. A nice set in a beautiful pattern!

Up for sale is a fine old macaroni knife or pasta server in the scarce 1776 pattern by Howard Sterling. The piece is 10 1/8 inches long and weighs 105 grams. The piece has never been monogrammed. The piece is marked with the Howard Sterling Co. trademark and "STERLING", as shown.

Condition on the piece is good. There is just the normal light wear. A handsome and useful old sterling serving piece!

For sale is a rare platter or stuffing spoon in the DIANA pattern by International, introduced in 1900. The spoon measures 12 5/16 inches long and weighs 146 grams. It has a peg on the back of the handle to keep it from slipping into a dish. The spoon is marked with the Wilcox & Evertsen / International trademark and "STERLING" as shown. The spoon is monogrammed "P" on the handle front.

Condition on the spoon is good. There is just the normal wear of use and a few shallow bowl dings...

For sale is a wonderful set of four aesthetic hammered sterling coffee spoons by Joseph Seymour, Sons & Co. of Syracuse, NY. The spoons measure 4 11/16 inches long and together weigh 44 grams. The lightly gold-washed bowls are covered with highly unusual faceted hammer marks, and the handles have similar hammering with shaped cartouches. The spoons have not been monogrammed. The spoons are marked "STERLING" and "J.S.S. & Co." as shown.

Condition on the spoons is very good...

For sale is a fancy sardine fork in the CORONADO pattern by Watson, date unknown. The fork is 5 3/16 inches long and weighs 20 grams. The fork is monogrammed "D" on the handle front. The fork is marked with the Watson "pennant" trademark and "STERLING".

Condition on the fork is fairly good. There is a scattering of small black spots, but otherwise just normal wear from use. A nice piece in a great old pattern!

For sale is a hollow handle flat pie server with old marks in the WAKEFIELD pattern by Reed & Barton, introduced in 1925. The server measures 10" inches in length with a 3 3/4" handle. The flat oval blade is marked "MIRRORSTELE / STAINLESS" as shown. The piece has not been monogrammed. The piece has the old Reed & Barton trademark over "STERLING HANDLE" on the handle side, as shown.

For sale are two small sterling rim glass dishes in the popular PRELUDE pattern by International, introduced in 1939. The dishes are 3 1/2 inches in diameter and are 1 1/4" tall. The glass bodies have frosted intaglio grape decoration in the bases. According to the catalog, these are individual ashtrays, but they are very attractive and could be used for just about anything. The dishes have never been monogrammed...

For sale is a fine pair of sugar tongs in the modernist THEME pattern by Gorham, introduced in 1954. The piece is 5 1/4 inches long and weighs 38 grams. The piece has never been monogrammed. The tongs are marked "GORHAM STERLING" as shown.

Condition on the tongs is very good. There is no damage, just the normal light scratches. A fine piece!

For sale is a hand made modernist sterling dish by Wheelock of Newport, Rhode Island. The dish is slightly oblong, roughly 3 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches long, and weighs 65 grams. The dish rests on three ball feet, and has applied stylized leaves at the back edge. It has not been monogrammed. The dish is marked "HAND MADE / STERLING / WHEELOCK, NEWPORT, R.I. / 98".

Condition on the dish is good. There is no damage, just a somewhat scratchy surface. A fine piece with great style!

For sale is a very nice late 19th century Austrian 750 silver gravy ladle by Alexander Sturm of Vienna. The ladle is 8 3/4 inches long and weighs a substantial 98 grams. The bowl is almost spherical, and the fiddle-style handle is turned down at the tip. The piece is not monogrammed, but a monogram may have been skillfully removed from the handle front at some point...

For sale is a gorgeous French 950 standard tea strainer or sifter spoon with bright cut decoration. The strainer is 8 1/4 inches long and weighs 50 grams. The lobed bowl is pierced and decorated with delicate engraving. Similar engraving adorns the front and back of the handle. The piece is marked with a French 1st standard Minerva mark and a maker's mark of "CALLOT BREVETES___"? in a diamond. It is very tiny and hard to make out completely...
