For sale is a fiddle pattern coin silver teaspoon by T.B. Leavenworth of Detroit, Michigan, working ca. 1850. The spoon measures 5 9/16 inches long and weighs 17 grams. It has flared shoulders, no drop, and a downturned fiddle handle. The spoon is monogrammed "E.B." in script as shown. The piece is marked "T.B. LEAVENWORTH" and "COIN" with a sunburst between as shown.
Condition on the spoon is quite good. The bowl has a few minor tooth dings, but that is it. It has not been buffed. A nice regional coin silver spoon!
