Fine Austrian 19th C Silver Sauce Ladle-A. Sturm-Vienna

For sale is a very nice late 19th century Austrian 750 silver gravy ladle by Alexander Sturm of Vienna. The ladle is 8 3/4 inches long and weighs a substantial 98 grams. The bowl is almost spherical, and the fiddle-style handle is turned down at the tip. The piece is not monogrammed, but a monogram may have been skillfully removed from the handle front at some point. The piece is marked with the Austrian 750 standard mark and the maker's mark of [A St.] for Alexander Sturm.

Condition on the ladle is good, Aside from a possible monogram removal, there is no damage. A very attractive piece of silver!
