2 International PRELUDE Sterling Rim Glass Dishes

For sale are two small sterling rim glass dishes in the popular PRELUDE pattern by International, introduced in 1939. The dishes are 3 1/2 inches in diameter and are 1 1/4" tall. The glass bodies have frosted intaglio grape decoration in the bases. According to the catalog, these are individual ashtrays, but they are very attractive and could be used for just about anything. The dishes have never been monogrammed. The dishes are marked on the rim edges "Prelude / INTERNATIONAL (Trademark) STERLING / NA13" as shown.
Condition on the dishes is very good. There is just normal wear from use and a few tiny dings. A nice pair of dishes in a popular pattern!
