KANDA Signed Studio Amethyst & Sterling Earrings 1990

For sale is a fine pair of studio sterling earrings, signed KANDA and dated 1990. The earrings are trapezoidal, roughly 1 3/8" wide. The tops are slightly domed and textured. In the centers are mounted raw chunks of amethyst crystals. One earring is marked "KANDA", ".925" and "(c) 1990". There is a relatively famous jeweler by this name, still active but working in a mosaic technique. This may be an early product of hers, but I do not know for certain
Condition on the earrings is good. The crystals are rough, but I believe that is intentional. There is a little bit of corrosion on the backsides, and the posts are a little bent. There are no backs. A neat set of modernist studio earrings!
