Ida Bailey Allen Double Quick Cooking. War time cookbook, 1943 first edition. No dust jacket orange in color. Cloth cover has a few dirt smudges. Edge wear front and back cover. Pages have yellowed due to age but are clean and binding is tight. There is some water spots top and bottom of pages when book is closed but does not extend into pages. When you open the book there are two paper labels from former owners of the book.

There appears to be a page missing at the very front of the book but that could have been a extra page removed by the printer because book appears to be complete otherwise. Pages are very clean and bright. There is no date on this book.

Modern Encyclopedia of Cooking Meta Givens 1952. Front cover spine of book is broken but does not affect the rest of cookbook or page tightness. Page 911 was not cut properly at the printers and is folded back at the bottom page so it fits in the book. Green cover no dust jacket. Back cover has a couple of small indentations where something was stored on top of it. Front and back cover have edge wear. Inside pages are clean.

The Kenmore Cookbook Sear's Roebuck and Co. The American Woman's Cookbook published by Culinary Arts Institute 1953. Nice vintage cookbook. Front and back cover has edge wear on the corners but it is minor. There is also some minor stains on front and back cover. I do not know if these can be cleaned. Pages are tight with no food stains on pages.

Motor's factory shop manual. Copyright 1937 by Hearst Magazines Inc. Book has spine and edge wear but pages are tight. Previous owner of book wrote in pencil inside front cover information on cars for the years 1931 to 1937 only. There is a small section cut out of front page at the bottom but dates of book and publishing info is not missing. Photo of index will show what cars are covered in this book.

Christmas Edition Gold Medal Flour Cookbook 1970 edition copy of 1904 edition. Who ever owned this copy laminated the front and back cover to protect it. Where it comes over the front and back cover to the inside the tape or laminate looks yellow. There is slight dogearing of the pages. Nice illustrations throughout the cookbook. Good shape for a vintage cookbook.
