The rich, deep red color of this bowl is gorgeous!
The edges are scalloped.
In each scallop is a carving. The torch of liberty alternates with the Eagle from the Great Seal, the eagle facing the wheat sheaf. Above the eagle's head are 3 stars, with "1887". I tried to photograph this, but don't think the photo does it jus ...click for details
