A deceptively simple cookie jar. Made to resemble an old fashioned crockery jug, this cookie jar will evoke a lot of memories! This jar was made by the famous McCoy company between 1956-1967 has 2 tiny flaws. One is a very small chip on the rim of the jar, and the other is a tiny flaw in the glaze on the finger handle on the lid. Photos of ...click for details

This is a McCoy Clown Cookie Jar, dating to the late 40's. Jar is in VERY good condition for being 60 years old! The paint is virtually mint. One spot on the green tassel is missing, but that seems to be a manufacturing flaw, not worn off. There are 2 chips, both invisible during normal display. One is on the lip of the lid where it fits inside the body of the jar. The other is on the bottom.
