These depression era carafes are called hottles and were made by the jeannette glass company circa the 1930's-40's.These were made to hold hot water,coffee,or other hot beverages.They are marked Glasbake on the bottom.They each measure 5 7/8" tall and are about 4" wide across the bottom.The carafes are in very good condition.

This covered candy jar is embossed with grapes & leaves and is highlighted with gold trim.Made by the jeannette glass company circa the 1950's. The jar measures 5 3/4" tall & is 4 1/2" wide across the top. There is some minor wear on the gold trim but overall condition is really nice with no chips or cracks.
