This is the Cake Plate in the "Chinex" classic pattern made by the MacBeth Evans Division of the Corning Glass Works from the late 1930's-1940's. There is some minor wear and light scratching in the center which is quite normal for it's age/use with the overall condition being very good with NO chips or cracks. Marked U.S.A. on the back. It measures 12 1/8" in diameter.
Here is a lovely 8" Salad Plate in the "American Sweetheart" pattern that was made by the McBeth Evans Glass Co. from 1930-1936. There is minor wear and light scratches which is quite normal with age/use with the overall condition being excellent with NO chips or cracks. A lovely serving piece for your collection.
