Watcombe Pottery Torquay "Mottoware" Plate

Here is a delightful Plate measuring 7.25" in diameter by Watcombe Torquay England circa 1887-1927. On the front is a cottage and the motto "If you can't be aisy be as aisy as you can". It is marked "Watcombe Torquay England" on the back of the plate. There is one chip on the back and age crazing on the front which is normal for pottery of this type and age of +100 years. Price reflects this condition.
