Vintage Goldstone tie clip and cuff links set

Vintage sparkling goldstone tie clip and cuff links set. Cuff links is approximately 1/2" X 3/4", tie clip is 3/8" X 1/4". Brand new never been worn condition. From gift shop we used to operate in the heart of S.F. Chinatown from the 50s to 80s. What is a Goldstone? Goldstone isn’t your typical type of gemstone because it’s man made. Some speculate it was discovered by accident when alchemists were trying to create manmade gold. Goldstone is made from brown glass with copper oxide added. It’s heated to a high temperature and when it cools the oxide changes into beautiful crystals that sparkle through the polished brown glass. Goldstone is said to be an uplifting stone, which helps reduce tension. It is believed helpful in securing love, protection, riches and inspired diplomacy. It’s further believed to attract positive energies.
