This IBM “Think” pad might possibly have been the very first version! But all kidding aside, this piece of memorabilia has the very famous buzz words used by IBM “THINK” in gold embossed letters on the cover of this leather note pad, “RESPECT FOR THE INDIVIDUAL”, “CUSTOMER SERVICE” and “EXCELLENCE”. This is an unused notepad given to IBM employees during the 1970’s-80’s. Here is an IBM pin back “A” Achievement Award still in a plastic presentation case. Raised silver on black matte shows a “computer” font style letter “A” which stood for “ACHIEVE”. This was presented to IBM personnel for their work on the Apollo Program during 1963-1972. Great memorabilia for the corporate collectible buff.
In a wonderful bright blue enamel circle, an “IBM” logo is mounted on a beautiful Italian marble base with cork bottom. Trimmed in silver and in raised relief letters it reads, “Federal Systems Division”, IBM, Electronics Systems Center”. Another fabulous item of interest for the corporate collector or “computer collectibles” collector!
Extremely rare IBM collectible. Laminated computer chip key fob used for the “on-board computer” in the Apollo Saturn Space Program. On the opposite side is written: “IBM Owego, Open House, 1957-1977” with a drawing on the IBM Plant in Owego New York.
