This early Baccarat hand-cut crystal casket/box is an extraordinary work of art. The lid is hand set in, I believe to be, a vermeil hinged framed with an exquisite reposse leaf design. Light bounces off each facet and the only flaw, if it can be called that, it that the piece is not in perfect square; one top edge is slightly longer on top than the other. There is a hallmark on the back hinge that has worn down but it is there. There is one minuscule chip on the bottom underneath the box. ...click for details

This white glazed porcelain "Art Deco" dancer has a round frosted glass that sits fully behind her. Her arms are stretched out and hold her draped skirt. With simple elegance, the piece was originally a lamp and with up to date wiring it could be again. At the 10 position there is a tiny smooth flake that appears to have been done when the piece was made. Has all over crazing. ...click for details

This sweet young art pottery piece was created by Max & Yona Lippin. Prior to opening their own studio, they had worked for Hedi Schoop. She's wearing a creamy white dress with pastel blue trim and rose colored slippers. Her yellow hair looks like it's wind-blown as she sits on a beach. Her forehead glaze is a bit worn from over 50 years of picking her up but, no chips or cracks.
