This antique set of six wood and paper mache male figures was made in India and is from the turn of the century. These were quite possibly a set of toys for a boy during the Victorian Era. There is cracking in the paper mache, at the place where the feet and arms connect to the body, from age. From her studio in Yaroslavl, just outside of Moscow, Natasha creates the most wonderful figurines that combine both majolica and Russian folk art.
