Exquisite porcelain pottery vase by famed British Potter & Artist, Mary Rich. Extraordinarily executed piece hand-painted in rich violet purple and gilded in gold accents. Glaze rub on inside the fluted top and light glaze rub around top rim. No chips, cracks or hairline fractures. Impressed with “M” near base.
A glazed raised relief abstract tree is "framed" within an unglazed clay background. The design appears on both sides of this delicate art pottery bud vase. The sides and "chimney-like" flute are galzed in a very soft pale grey. There is a markers mark that I have not been able to identify.
