Antique Russian paper mache Owl has texture throughout and has hand placed sequins to represent the features. Looks very similar to bead-work but is not. The lid is the owls head with intricate detail around its eyes and crown. The canister has shows the wings, feet and tail scrolled into the all-over design. (At very top of head 1/2 row of reflecting sequins are missing)
