The detail and wood-working techniques in this Polish wood miniature are extraordinary. Individual parts are carved and polished then assembled to create this sweet maiden "spinning" wool. This was created by S. Sitarski & J. Fedorowicz, who did wonderful depictions of the country folk of Poland.
