The unique style used to paint this piece makes the painting of birds look like hand embroidery. The colors used are umber, forest green and pale yellow along with 3 different wood stains. A "Heart Design" with a floral painting on either side give this box an Old World Charm. On the bottom is written: Reinfall-Switzerland July 13 1949 & the letter "w".
