"Troika" Scene Russian Folk Art Lacquer Box

Two wonderful and charming "Troika" scene boxes are being offered as a Set. Both boxes depict the famous past time of riding through the woods, during the winter, in a 3 horse sledge. One signed box was painted in the village of Mstera and the other in Palekh. Both hinged boxes are accented in gold paint. They are from the early 1990’s during USSR time period.
