This set of three (3) “Scenes of Russia” are being offered together show some of the famous landmarks of Russia. Accented with gold these composition style boxes are decoupage prints enhanced with hand-painting. One scene shows Moscow’s famous “Kremlin Square”, one “The Cathedral of Christ the Savior” and the last, “The Savior Church on the Nervy”. The last has a most unusual story, over 2 centuries of flooding a created a river and this beautiful church now stands in the middle and can only be visited by boat. All of these “souvenir” boxes are from the USSR time period.
