This is an exquisite majolica hand-painted artist figurine by Natasha Pavlova. From her studio in Yaroslavl, just outside of Moscow, Natasha creates the most wonderful figurines that combine both majolica and Russian folk art. This piece entitled, “The Boyar’s Daughter” shows a lovely young woman, her head covered by a scarf decorated with a floral motif. Her hands are inside a fur “muff” and her elegant coat in muted rose color, trimmed in “fur”, partially covers her long blue skirt. She is shown in the last photo with another figurine.
